The Standards and Trade Development Facility (STDF) is implementing a programme in partnership with the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) and TradeMark Southern Africa (TMSA).

Its purpose is to improve trade performance and competitiveness of the Eastern and Southern Africa regions – contributing to sustainable, rapid and inclusive growth and poverty reduction.

TMSA is currently inviting Expressions of Interest from National Consultants to review and analyse the implementation of Sanitary and Phytosanitary (SPS) measures, procedures and processes in the context of trade facilitation in selected countries in Southern Africa. Interested consultants should follow the link to the announcement (http://trademarksa.org/tenders) for further details including the terms of reference for these positions.

The deadline is 31 October 2013.
